Summary:

The Assistant Director of Education (ADOE) supports the Director of Education in the administration, coordination, and development of academic programs, policies, personnel, and facilities. This role helps foster an environment of academic and professional excellence for both students and faculty, while promoting collaboration among educational teams.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the implementation and oversight of academic policies and instructional programs

  • Assist in managing faculty performance, development, and staffing

  • Promote student success through academic quality and support initiatives

  • Help monitor compliance with educational standards and regulations

  • Contribute to strategic planning, scheduling, and data analysis

  • Collaborate with internal departments to improve academic operations


Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Knowledge:

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • Minimum 2 years of progressive academic experience including teaching, advising, and management

  • Familiarity with education regulations and industry practices

  • Experience using student information systems

Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong organizational, time-management, and analytical skills

  • Proficiency with various software tools, including word processing, email, and data systems

  • Business acumen, including the ability to assess and respond to academic and operational trends

  • Ability to propose, evaluate, and implement practical solutions

Abilities:
